Beginning of the Physical Game

As soon as we were let loose to start working on the physical game I went straight to the rulebook as i knew it was my weak point for the print n play. This Link is to the book PDF created in photoshop.

I also got started on developing my game board, looking for resources for creating it physically.

The game's style is slowly seeping through. I'm looking forward to the end product.

Crazy Engineers Print and Play!

This is an image of two people playing Crazy Engineers V0.5 - The second last iteration of the Crazy Engineers franchise. The final version added some art to the board and allowed a single random chance element into the game. This game heavily relies on strategy and thinking ahead of your opponent. Had a great time devising it and spending hours balancing and testing. First game designed.

Playtest Session 01

At the playtest session with the Game Design club I got a good view of how my game plays and little things that may be broken. With play testing prior to this I've already been figuring out basic game mechanics - I know now that I need to balance my pieces. It would also be useful to create cards that show each units abilities, this is because due to it being a game that people aren't familiar with it makes it easier to know what their pieces do.
